The Fortune Squirrel is a rare Limited-Event pet introduced during the Chubby Chipmunk Event in Grow a Garden. As one of the most desirable Legendary pets, it cannot be obtained through eggs, chests, or any standard method—only through event progression.
How to Get the Fortune Squirrel
The Fortune Squirrel could only be obtained during the Chubby Chipmunk event by raising the event pet—Chubby Chipmunk—to a weight of 46.43 kg.
Once your Chubby Chipmunk reached the required weight, players could claim the Fortune Squirrel from the Unclaimed Rewards sign located at the center of the island. This reward was exclusive to the event and is no longer obtainable outside of it.
To reach the necessary weight, players had to keep the Chubby Chipmunk in their garden for extended periods, feeding and caring for it until it grew heavy enough.
What the Fortune Squirrel Does
The Fortune Squirrel’s primary strength comes from its passive ability:
CHA-CHING — It has a 17% chance to apply the Jackpot Mutation once every 7 minutes.
This mutation is extremely rare and is normally only seen in admin-exclusive events, making the Fortune Squirrel the only consistent method for players to obtain it.
Appearance
The Fortune Squirrel resembles the standard Squirrel but with a luxurious golden redesign. Its entire body is made of solid gold, accented with glowing orange-gold rings around the tail and torso. It has:
- 2 golden front legs
- 2 smaller golden back legs
- A thick, golden tail with orange-gold ring patterns
The overall appearance is meant to evoke wealth and rarity, fitting its name and abilities.
The Fortune Squirrel is one of the rarest pets in Grow a Garden, originally obtainable only during the Chubby Chipmunk Event by raising the Chubby Chipmunk to 46.43 kg.
